About NWCUUC: Our Mission
We provide a community where open-minded people are welcomed and encouraged to explore their spiritual growth in an atmosphere of love and acceptance; we believe in inspiring the next generation to lead principle-centered lives; and we seek to share our celebration of life in service to the larger community.
We are a community of people seeking spiritual truth. Our church was founded in 1995, is affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), and is comprised of a community of people who want to grow spiritually and who are committed to sharing their spiritual lives within the community.
Our Symbol

Our symbol is the Flaming Chalice, warmth of community and fire of creative truth, emerging from an eternal cup of common bonds, placed off center within the two coinciding circles of historical Unitarianism and Universalism.
Who is Welcome at Our Church
We come from different religious backgrounds, different walks of life, and this enhances our community. Our guiding principle is a belief in the inherent worth and dignity of every person. Accordingly, everyone is welcome in our church, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or faith. We open our doors to you and look forward to the opportunity to get to know you.
Who We Are
We are a growing church of 10+ years. We are governed by a Board of Directors elected yearly and a strong team of Committee Chairs who make up our Program Council.
Covenant Groups are at the heart of our church. Current covenant groups include: Spiritual Parenting, Voluntary Simplicity, "Crones," Cooking, Our American Roots and more. Whether you attend our church or not, we invite you to become involved in a group that interests you.
