Adult Religious Education
Adult Religious Education (RE) provides an opportunity for intellectual and spiritual growth. The group discusses written works of common interest, but perhaps the greatest benefit comes from sharing diverse viewpoints, broad life experiences, and our deepest personal insights in an open, trusting, and caring environment.
Adult RE is studying the book "Awakening the Heroes Within, Twelve Archetypes to Help Us Find Ourselves and Transform Our World" by Carol Pearson.
This book explores some common archetypes, or behavior / lifestyle patterns in human experience, and how understanding our own patterns can enrich our life journey and help us on the path to wholeness.
RE is a time of small group sharing. The people in the group bring a range of perspectives and experiences that keep the conversation lively. We meet on Sundays after worship from 11:15 to 12:00 in the room behind the sanctuary. Visitors to the class are always welcome.
