Altar Flowers

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin. And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

NWCUUC is launching an Altar Flower program. Choose a special date to honor someone special in your life by placing Altar Flowers in our church. A notice of the dedication of Altar Flowers will be printed in the Order of Service.

Those placing the flowers will be responsible for obtaining the flowers and delivering them prior to the start of worship service. It is not necessary to purchase flowers, homegrown beauties are most welcome! For those who do not garden, most grocery stores offer beautiful cut flowers. When selecting your arrangement, please bear in mind our limited altar space. One vase in the center of the altar, placed in front of the green fabric that covers the podium, seems to utilize the space most appropriately. If you have a nice vase, please bring it because the ones in the kitchen are very, very basic.
