Children's Religious Education

The great end in religious instruction is not to stamp our minds upon the young, but to stir up their own... Channing

Religious Education is valued strongly by the members of our church. Parents feel it is important for children of all age levels to receive guidance and instruction in order to develop a strong sense of self and feel comfortable about their religion.

Goals of Our Children's Religious Education Program:

We base our curriculum on materials developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association.

  • Teach children of all ages what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist and how to live guided by the principles of Unitarian Universalism.
  • Teach children about our Judeo-Christian heritage and what other religions believe
  • Provide instruction on topics of relevance in the lives of our youth
  • RE BLOG -- See What's Happening!
