NWCUUC Fall 2011 Outreach Project

Rebuilding Together Houston is a project supported by UUs in the Greater Houston Area. What is it? It's a group of people going to repair and refurbish the exterior of a home in Houston. Whose home? Usually the owner is elderly and/or has a disability.

NWCUUC took part about 10 years ago as a group, and since then just one or two members have pitched in.

Please consider signing up for a work day. You will meet other area UUs and bond with your NWCUUC members and friends. Best of all, Tracy Cook has volunteered to be the Grub Master! She will be working with other UUs to provide a delicious lunch to the work crew.

October 15 and 22 are the big days. October 15 is an excellent choice for an adult and a group of our older children and teens as the Youth rally is the following weekend. October 22 is the better date for our leaders as the All-Commitee and Board meetings are on October 15.

Fill out the form below, or look for the sign-up sheet in the lobby on October 2 and October 9.
