"Trust Yourself" by Rev. Phil Schulman

Trust Yourself.

Trust your heart.

You don't have to figure it all out yourself. In fact, you don't have to figure it all out at all. Your heart and soul will guide you.

Beware the question: “What should I do?.” Why give to an outside authority the power that is rightfully yours? No matter what the ruling experts say, the choice of what to do will be yours to make. Sometimes you will wish for more information than is available. It is okay to decide based on the information you have.

No matter how you try, you won't be able to avoid bringing pain to others and yourself. Make space inside of you to hold this pain with compassion.

Remember that you are already okay. You are not lacking anything essential. Therefore nothing essential is on the line. You will live.

There are great powers conspiring and working for healing in and all around you.
You are here to learn, and you have all the time in the world.

Mistakes are a necessary part of your journey and your learning.

Inside your heart, lies a seed of a gift that you have for this world. You can pursue this, your heart's inclination. Listen slowly and carefully to its poetry. It is the seed of a gift to be born through you. Trust it. Move towards it. Allow it to nurture you.

It will not come out exactly as you plan.

And your desires and wishes will change as you grow in awareness and harmony with your soul.

Admit that you need help. You don't have to pretend you have it all together.
You are no better and no worse than the brothers and sisters you wish to help. You are no better or no worse than the sisters and brothers whose help you seek.

You are whole and completely connected to life. All life is dynamic, ever changing, ever flowing. As are you.

Blessings are upon you.

Blessings emanate from you.

Give thanks for what has been given to you.

There is joy inside of you waiting to be set free. It and you are gifts, not only for this world but also for yourself.
